I was born in Johannesburg In 1947 my parents moved to Zim when I was 8. Represented Rhodesia at junior level and toured England for 6weeks playing against various county teams. Played against one of the county teams can’t remember which at Wimbledon. court 17. I had to do 4 months army service before being allowed to return to SA in 1965. Moved to Durban for 3 years. Won Natal Closed on the Sugar tennis circuit. Joined the army after being called up for army service and deciding to rather join the Permanent Force in Pretoria based at DHQ in the clerical section.

Won combined Defence Force championships in Ct 1970. Toured England and played the French circuit including Nice and Monte Carlo. Saw Jacquelene Bisset the actress at the Casino. What a babe!. Played the French Cote Du Zur circuit including Cannes great fun. Worked at various Insurance Companies and the Attorney General in Pretoria for 7 years. Then ended up.coaching tennis in Greyton and became involved in croquet and of course my leg. That’s it, use whatever and however you want.
